Song of the Day: Zedd “Dovregubben”

Today’s Song of the Day the new single from Zedd, “Dovregubben”. “Dovregubben” is an electro house track inspired by Edward Grieg’s highly recognizable classical composition “Peer Gynt, In the Hall of the Mountain King”. The young German DJ/Producer got his break in 2009 winning back to back Beatport remix contests then moving on to quickly gain more notoriety with his remix of Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites”. Now Zedd is on the rise with the release of “Dovregubben” and his remix of Swedish House Mafia’s “Save the World” (a huge improvement over the original IMHO). It’s good to see some new young talent out there and it’s a safe bet that Zedd will be around awhile.
